  • High quality of life

It’s our people who make our growing region what it is.

SE Alberta has a youthful, educated population with nearly 43 percent of the population between the ages of 25 and 54. Almost 40% have a post secondary education.

In February 2011 unemployment rates remained stable at 5.7%. This is testimony to a diverse economy and skilled labor. Employers try to retain these valuable employees even in tough economic times.

We are centrally located to a number of post-secondary educational facilities including Medicine Hat College, Lethbridge Community College and the University of Lethbridge.

As part of the Palliser Health Region we have extensive health and medical care throughout all areas.
