Training the Next Generation 2

The Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta (EDA) Agriculture Committee presents Training the Next Generation 2 (TTNG2) on February 16, 2012 at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede's Grandstand Banquet Room. The conference, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., promises to give you the tools you need to successfully transfer the ownership of your farm business.

Studies show that farm families who talk regularly are 21% more profitable; therefore starting the discussions on tough issues is highly important for your business. 

TTNG2 features family farm business coach and succession expert, Elaine Froese. Froese brings over 22 years of experience working with agriculture families and groups, such as Farm Credit Canada and the Canadian Hereford Association. Froese will be speaking on topics such as "Who Gets the Farm... and When?" and "Discuss the Undiscussabull™", with advice to encourage producers and their families (or business successors) to start the planning process.
