Sustainable and Renewable Energy (SURE) Directory Promotes Alternative Energy
Southeast Alberta contains a number of successful alternative energy businesses, and we want to promote them. The Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta is creating a SURE directory and is requesting companies in, or associated to, renewable energy to forward their information to us by March 25th, 2010.
SURE: a group focused on promoting alternative energy businesses across the province, has already created directories for Edmonton and Calgary. Recognizing our regional advantage we want to publish a directory focused on Southeast Alberta. Creating awareness, this directory serves as an advertising tool for local companies, as well as gains awareness from organizations such as the Global Business Center, who regularly deal with foreign investment attraction.
The directory will be posted on our website, as a tool for the public to use. We appreciate any information, feedback or referrals that you can provide. To sign your company up, refer a business, or for more information contact Kelsie Bastura, Project Coordinator for the EDA, at kbastura@edalliance.ca or (403) 488-7015.
The Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta (EDA) is a non-profit organization funded by the City of Medicine Hat, the Towns of Bow Island and Redcliff and the Counties of Cypress and Forty Mile. The EDA provides relevant industry knowledge and support to six key sectors; alternate energy, oil and gas, agriculture, technology and advanced manufacturing. Our goal is to position Southeast Alberta as the centre for regional economic growth through collaborative partnerships, industry growth and diversification and increasing the awareness of opportunities in our region.
