Redcliff Technology Enterprise Centre (Redtec) provides facility for UVS expansion
The UVS cluster in Southeast Alberta is growing and providing sustainable opportunities relating to the Defence Research Development Canada (DRDC), at CFB Suffield in the field of defence, research and technology.The Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta is inviting companies, with an innovative product, interested in technology advancement, to work in a collaborative environment in the Redtec Incubator.
Redtec, a business incubator facility, allows UVS clients to focus on bringing their innovation to market while having access to a facility, industry equipment, technical and business support, mentoring and grants as well as close distance to testing ranges at Foremost and Suffield.Benefits to Redtec also include the proximity to the Canadian Centre for Unmanned Vehicle Systems (CCUVS), with access to robotic specialists. There is no cost for services and minimal investment required by clients. The incubator is in a secure facility with a non-disclosure agreement in place. There is currently space for new tenants.

Redcliff Technology Enterprise Centre (Redtec) is a privately owned facility custom designed to accommodate business incubation including: applied research with assigned or shared lab space, serviced workstations, meeting and training rooms and office services. The EDA has an Innovation Facilitator and Business Development Manager to assist in market analysis, feasibility assessment, accessing funding programs, design and construction of Proof of Concept to pre-production models.
