EDA's Innovation Experience April 28th

Throughout 2009, the Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta has exceeded the expectations of their funding municipalities. Whether it is leveraging funds of over 3.8 times their initial investment, to conducting reports and hosting events to attract investments and diversify the local economy, the EDA has been exceptionally busy in 2009. The EDA would not be as successful without the smart, committed, and highly skilled companies of Southeast Alberta. To pay tribute, the EDA will be showcasing these unique and savvy industry leaders at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, April 28, at Terralta Inc.
Unlike most AGM’s, this event will be a casual, interactive setting highlighting smart and technically advanced local companies. There will be display booths featuring leading edge products in oil and gas, agriculture, technology, unmanned vehicle systems, and manufacturing. There will also be a video streaming throughout the event containing brief interviews with various companies showing how the EDA contributed to their success in 2009.
The EDA has helped these companies reach success by providing pertinent industry knowledge, research support, suggesting funding availability, and providing access to a central database for investors. It is the EDA’s mission to establish Southeast Alberta as the hub for economic growth and development.
