HAT Smart 2 will launch June 1

Medicine Hat – HAT Smart II will be launched on Wednesday, June 1, giving residents and businesses another round of energy conservation and renewable energy incentives.
Qualification for rebates will be retroactive to April 1 so that homeowners and business owners who are in the midst of their renovation projects will still be able to qualify for rebates.
Details of the new program will be e-mailed on June 1 to those who have signed up with an e-mail address on the HAT Smart website. To this point, more than 390 people have signed up to receive HAT Smart II information. Please keep in mind that HAT Smart II grants will be distributed on a first come, first completed basis. We will be accepting applications until March 31, 2012, or until the program is fully subscribed. Details will also be posted on the HAT Smart website at www.hatsmart.ca at that time.
