Published on July 4, 2011
Canadian Badlands Ltd. (CBL) has appointed Jody Lamb as Interim Executive Director to continue CBL’s work while they seek a new Executive Director following Manuelle Prunier’s resignation effective June 30.
Prior to being appointed Interim Executive Director, Jody served as CBL’s Regional Development Specialist managing the $5 million Rural Alberta Development Fund (RADF) funding since October 2009. Lamb will continue in this role overseeing the project management and reporting to RADF as required.
“Jody has done an exceptional job ensuring all projects are achieving their objectives and are meeting CBL’s budgeting commitments,” says Doug Jones, CBL President. “The Board unanimously endorsed this interim leadership transition as CBL continues to advance the Tourism Development Strategy for the economic, environment and social benefits of all its shareholder communities and our many tourism industry partners.”
CBL will continue to deliver on its commitments, as well as advance the strategic direction for the ongoing development of the Canadian Badlands as an iconic tourism destination.
Jody has a background in senior management leadership, communication, project management and collaboration. Before working for CBL, she was the Corporate Communications Manager for the City of Medicine Hat and the Communications Manager for Columbia Basin Trust in British Columbia.
