Alternative Energy Creates Stable Employment Opportunities

Published on January 18, 2010

Alternative energy is creating a boost in our province, convincing H-R firms that we are heading towards recovery.  The Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta (EDA) recognizes the opportunity that exists in wind power and the role it will play in creating jobs for local residents.

Southeast Alberta will have an increase in wind farms showcasing our attractive business environment, and once these projects are operational, stable employment opportunities. There will be job creation in building wind turbines, maintaining operations and construction relating to the creation of the transmission lines. Alternative energy is just one of the ways in which smart employment opportunities will be presented in our region.
